Otherwise, hi! I’m Ashley. I like stories, games, and snacks. Sometimes all at the same time.

My favorite stories to tell and read are the ones that lift up the corners of our reality to find the everyday magic rumbling underneath. Sometimes that looks like learning how to laugh after tragedy. Sometimes that looks like a wardrobe in a spare room or a stone circle on an ancient hill.

When I’m not writing or daydreaming, you can probably find me reading (my first love), playing cozy Switch games, watching Pride and Prejudice for the six billionth time, or pestering my husband and son.
